Domaine Ciry Cattaneo is situated in the Minervois region of Languedoc, in the south of France. David Ciry studied winemaking and oenology in Bordeaux and Reims, before completing his apprenticeship as a winemaker in California, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, Spain and South Africa. Back in France he started a winemaking consulting company in 2008 and still consults mostly for small organic wineries in different countries. In 2015 he opened his winery with organic certified old vines of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan at 400m altitude in Languedoc, working everything manually to produce several 100% terroir-driven microcuvées.
