Bodega Frontio was founded in 2016, when Thyge Benned Jensen quit his day job as natural gas trader in Copenhagen, sold his apartment and bought vineyards in a rural area of Spain called Arribes, with the aim of establishing his own winery. Thyge started Bodega Frontio with the ambition to make down-tempo organic wines, handcrafted and defined by grape quality, the soil and minimal intervention in the winemaking process by using indigenous yeast and low extraction.
